Head Start: First Steps to a Great Future
The City of Chicago Department of Family and Support Services needed to increase enrollment in Head Start, especially Latino. Cultural Communications designed a culturally appropriate community outreach campaign, that included new branding and tagline, street festivals, radio interviews, advertising and collateral materials in several languages, such as Chinese, Polish and Spanish.
At the end of the campaign DFSS saw an increase in Latino enrollment to 43%; or 11% more than double the goal for the campaign.
